Employers’ Liability – do you employ staff and what would you do if they were injured working for you?

If you employ staff, it’s a legal requirement for businesses in the UK to carry Employers’ Liability insurance of at least £5m.  Failure to do so could result in a fine of £2,500 and there is also a risk that a business’s reputation could suffer.

Public Liability – could you continue to trade if you caused injury to a member of the public and they decided to bring legal action against you?
